Activities
Relax There is a lounge and sunroom which has a TV, music centre. This is where most of our group activities take place. The sun-room area looks out onto a sunny mature garden, which has been designed with the elderly in mind. There are raised beds where keen gardeners can keep their fingers green should they desire. Literature Books and daily newspapers are available in the lounge. Personal copies may be ordered at the residents own cost. Mealtime At mealtimes there is a choice of menu. Well qualified chefs prepare appetising, nutritious meals, using fresh vegetables whenever possible. Special diets and personal celebrations are also catered for. Residents who have an interest in cooking may observe the meals being prepared in an open-plan kitchen, and enjoy them in our non-smoking dining room. Residents may invite friends and relatives to eat with them, providing that the manager is advised in advance. |
